Where There’s Smoke, There’s Burns: A Spirited Night of Whiskey and Verse
Share
Burns Night was a haggis-licious hoot this year! From the moment I stepped off the subway to the sound of bagpipes skirling through the air, I knew I was in for a kilt-spinning good time. The evening had all the essentials: tartan everywhere, the Bard’s brilliant poetry, and a rollicking address to the haggis by Andrew Weir that left the crowd in stitches (and the haggis in pieces).
In this feature for The Times Square Chronicles, I’ll toast to the traditions, share a wee dram of Burns’s legacy, and dish on how this celebration brought the Highlands to life. Get ready for some poetry, plaid, and piping hot fun!
